As routines slow down and schedules shift, summer creates space to reconnect—not just with family, but with your church and community. One of the most valuable places you can invest is in your church’s kids and student ministries. These ministries aren’t just programs; they are spaces where faith is formed, questions are asked, and lives are shaped. And they need people like you.
Scripture reminds us, “One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts” (Psalm 145:4). Your experiences, your testimony, and your steady presence can speak volumes to a younger generation searching for truth and belonging. You don’t have to be a teacher or a leader on stage—sometimes the most impactful role is simply being present, listening, encouraging, and showing up consistently.
Summer is also a great time to explore where you fit best.
