SUNDAY SCHOOL AT 9AM & WORSHIP AT 10AM

What to Expect

Westwood Baptist Church is a place where people can meet Jesus,
engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in
creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ,
discover their gifts, and use them for God's glory.
Join us for our Sunday service!
What do Sundays look like?
We have Sunday School available for all ages at 9am, and a worship service for the whole church body at 10am.
A typical service will last about 90 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people!

There is childcare available and activities for all age groups. We have greeters and volunteers who would love to show you around!
Where should I park?
We have two main entrances on Sunday mornings: The Worship Center entrance and the Church Offices entrance.
The Church Offices entrance is near the Children's wing and could be more convenient for those with children ages birth - 5th grade.
We have signs posted in the parking lot directing you to each of the entrances, and you can feel free to park in any of the lots nearby!

What should I wear?
We hope you feel the freedom to come as you are! Most of the church family wears semi-casual attire, but you're welcome to wear what makes you comfortable.
How does Westwood practice communion?
We practice communion bimonthly, and we invite all who have put their trust in Christ to participate.
What do you have for kids?
We have Sunday School classes for kids of all ages at 9am, and extended childcare with a time of worship at 10am!

We have a great team of volunteers who work to bring children lessons from the Bible at a level they'll understand, and are dedicated to giving them the best care. We also have security volunteers who monitor the hallways for the safety of our kids and congregation.

Children ages birth - pre-k will be in the downstairs Children's Wing, and kids ages K-5th will be in the upstairs Children's Wing. We have greeters at the entrance who would be glad to show you where to go!
What about older kids?
We have Sunday School Small Group classes for Middle and High Schoolers that meet at 9am, and then students join their families for corporate worship at 10am. Students meet in the 2nd floor Student hallway.

Our student ministry team is dedicated to discipling and equipping students so they can confidently live out their faith wherever they may be. They'd love for you or your student to join them!
What if I need help finding the right place to go?
We have greeters at every door who would be happy to get you connected and usher you wherever you'd like to go!
How do I find out about the latest events?
You can always check the events tab by clicking here, or by downloading Westwood's app.
You can find a full calendar of events and join messaging groups in the app that will keep you up to date on everything happening in the church!
How can I get involved in the church?
Westwood believes that the Good News of the Gospel is for everyone and that God has gifted us all differently to build His kingdom, so we have something for people in all stages and walks of life.

Our Starting Point class is offered throughout the year and is great for anyone wanting to know more about Westwood, what we believe, and how to get plugged in. The class is required for those seeking membership, but attending the class doesn't commit you to membership. You can find out when the next Starting Point class is happening by visiting our Events tab!

If you'd like to get involved, you can click here to fill out our Get Connected form and we can help get you plugged in and using your gifts to build the kingdom!
